Cetme for sale
The CETME design group was founded in Spain in the aftermath of WWII and was staffed by a number of Mauser employees, including Dr. Ludwig Vorgrimler, who brought their research and designs with them. They would later develop and adopt the CETME C, which is more familiar to American shooters and collectors as the G3 / HK91 in 7.62×51 /.308. Confronted with militaries’ transition to the 5.56 in the 1970s and their impending entry into NATO, Spain and CETME began serious development of a 5.56 rifle for their military. As a result, the CETME L became the final roller-locking rifle to be adopted by any military, and the first and only one designed specifically for the 5.56/.223 from the ground up.
