G17 mos

G17 mos is a well-known and proven pistol manufacturer from Austria. The Generation 5 upgrade from the previous model includes a new groove with increased precision on the barrel, an equilateral mantle notch that accommodates both right and left handed shooters, and a magazine tray that facilitates magazine changes in stressful situations. Additionally, G17 mos eliminated the finger grooves on the piston, allowing for a more secure grip even for those with large or small hands. The new finish on the pipe and mantle provides increased resistance to rust and scratches. New magazines feature an orange cartridge driver and a larger magazine bottom to facilitate magazine changes. FS stands for Front Serrations and refers to the milled grooves on the front sides of the mantle that make it easier to grip and move the mantle. The jacket of the MOS, Modular Optic System, is milled to facilitate attachment of the sight plate to an optical sight / reflex sight. The pistol comes with four sight adapter plates (Docter / Meopta / Insight, Trijcon, C-more, and Leupold).

G17 mos adds the Modular Optic System to the already near-perfect Gen5 model of “The original” with the G17 Gen5 MOS (MOS). The slide is precision machined to accommodate a variety of optic sights. Multiple adapter plates enable you to quickly and easily mount miniature red dot sights to the rear of the Gen5 GLOCK slide, which features front serrations for easier manipulation.
