Glock’s first entry into competition shooting was the Glock 34 GEN 3 9mm. To achieve the highest possible accuracy for target engagement, the GLOCK 34’s extended barrel, longer slide dimensions, and elongated distance between sights were developed. This highly accurate pistol is widely used as a competitive pistol in IPSC and other shooting sports, but is also a standard issue for many SWAT teams.

The primary reason for developing the Glock 34 was to achieve the highest level of accuracy possible for target shooting. The g34 mos features an extended barrel, larger slide dimensions, and unmatched reliability in a 9x19mm pistol. The Gen4 platform revolutionizes the pistol’s design, which is designed to be the same length as a Government Model 1911. The frame’s surface features Gen4 rough textured technology that was scientifically designed and field-tested. Internally, the g34 slide dual recoil spring assembly significantly extends the system’s life. A reversible, enlarged magazine catch that can be changed in seconds accommodates operators who are left- or right-handed. This model is manufactured in the United States of America.

Glock engineers created the g34 mos Modular Optic System, which is featured on this model, to make mounting popular optics easier without requiring costly custom machining of the pistol’s slide. The MOS system includes a cover plate for use when no optic is mounted and four plate options that conform to the specifications of some of the industry’s most reputable optic manufacturers, including EOTech, Docter, Insight, Meopta, Trijicon RMR, C-MORE, and Leupold Delta Point optics. Additionally, the MOS system allows for the addition of tall iron sights, allowing the optic and iron sights to co-witness. Optical components are not included.
