This Aya Demi-Bloc is a magnificently crafted, preeminent sidelock double gun that exudes superior craftsmanship and balance. In the late 1950s, the Demi-Bloc system was introduced, modeled after the time-tested Holland & Holland system. This 12-gauge side-by-side revolver features a forged steel action with a double locking mechanism and gas vents, hardened steel intercepting safety sears, a double trigger with a hinged front trigger, an automatic safety, an oil-finished walnut stock with fine checkering, and English scroll engraving. This model is in good condition, with some finish wear on the stock and a small pit near the left barrel’s midpoint. Both barrels are completely choked.
